The levels of ingredients in their banh mi's are superb. The bread is crispy, but still soft inside. I tried the BBQ chicken and the meat was perfectly cooked.
Good size and very tasty. Friendly owner. I was recommended the BBQ pork sandwich as it has lemongrass in it. Would recommend!
Hands-down best banh mi value in SF! You get the most loaded banh mi with the juiciest portions of meat and stuffed full with pickled veggies too.

I just went to Vietnam for 3 weeks and I did not have a better banh mi over there than I have had at L&G. The meatball sandwich is my favorite.
Best banh mi I’ve had. Perfect ratio of meat to bread and veggies. Meat is tender and juicy while the bread has a perfect crackle with a soft interior.
